Description

Learn the magic of ice dye! Ice dye is a method of dyeing that involves putting dye on top of ice, and then letting the ice melt. The result is an unexpected, flowy mix of colors! Try it out on a 100% turkish cotton towel that you can take to the beach, on a picnic, or use at home. Walk through the step by step process of prepping your towel, setting the dye and watching the creation come to life, and leave feeling empowered to recreate this magic again and again at home. You will have a variety of dye colors to choose from to make or mix any colors you may want.

This process involves some waiting time after everything is set up – we will use that time to look at samples and dive deeper into the process, and to take a field trip together to the coffee shop and/or park while we wait.

Gloves will be provided, aprons are NOT. Please bring an apron and/or clothes you don’t mind accidentally getting dye on. Towels will need to be thoroughly washed (by hand or in a machine) to remove any excess dye after the class.

No experience necessary, we are dying to see you here!
