Join us for a fun-filled week of creativity and learning at Radius Art Studio’s Summer Youth Clay Camp! Our camp is designed to ignite the artistic spark in young minds and provide a hands-on experience in the world of clay.
In this session, we welcome kids ages 9-13. We will dive into the basics of wheel throwing, and students will learn various techniques like centering, pulling, and shaping to create unique clay pieces. Campers will get a chance to experiment with underglazes, adding vibrant colors and designs to their creations.
All the creations made by our young artists will be fired and glazed by Radius staff, and available for pickup after 9/13 during our open studio hours. You will have one month after that date to come to pick them up during our open studio hours.
We recommend packing a daily snack to keep the creativity flowing!
Our new sliding scale pricing model offers different payment tiers based on customers’ financial abilities, allowing those with more resources to pay more and subsidize costs for those with less. This approach enhances accessibility and inclusivity, enabling a broader range of students to access or summer camp. We have chosen this model to foster community engagement and support equity.
-Our Subsidized Price is intended for those who have limited financial resources.
-Our Standard Price is intended for customers with average or typical financial resources.
-Our Supporter Price is for those who have more financial resources and are willing to pay more to support the business and subsidize the lower tiers. Paying at this level helps contribute to the sustainability of the sliding scale model.
