Description

Join us at Ulna Studio for Adult Summer Art Camp with Lettie Jane Rennenkamp.

This is a five-day concentrated workshop designed for all levels. Students will draw every day, playing with a variety of materials and drawing exercises to help you explore your creative strengths, build drawing confidence and teach you to trust your own ability to create.

This class encourages community through collaborative drawing projects and supportive feedback. The immersive, 5-day camp is an excellent choice for anyone looking to shift their perspective on art making. You will use different materials (provided by the studio) to explore mark-making, gesture, and fluid watercolor work. The mornings will offer material prompts and the afternoons will offer more freedom to play, explore your own projects, or deepen the practice we explored in the morning.

We hold visual voice in balance with (and sometimes in preference to) craft. This class has attracted seasoned artists and creative beginners, the wide range of experiences contributes to the conversation in new and interesting ways. We hope you will leave this class with fewer inhibitions about art making, ready to tap into your intuition and make more art.

Class will run from 10:00-2:30 and students will be invited to take a 30 minute lunch break at 12:00.
