Step up your pottery game with our 12-week ceramics class where you’ll explore both wheel throwing and hand building techniques, designed for intermediate students who are ready to refine their skills and explore more complex forms. Each session is structured to challenge and inspire, with live demonstrations and tailored guidance from our experienced instructor. This class will help you expand your wheel-throwing techniques and explore your artistic expression through clay.
Aimed at students with a basic understanding of clay foundations, this course focuses on advancing your abilities. You will work on creating more sophisticated forms and pushing the boundaries of your creativity and technical skills.
What’s Included:
- 12 Instructed Sessions, 2.5 hours each
- Material and Tools: Each student will receive 25 lbs of clay, 20 firing slips, and access to tools and our large selection of custom glazes.
- 24 free Open Studio Hours to Practice independently. Open Studio Hours are valid through the end of the 12 week course. Hours are redeemed in 2 hour “blocks”. Additional hours can be purchased at $20/2 hour block.
Open Studio Hours:
Thursdays, 5pm-9pm
Fridays, 4pm-8pm
Saturdays, 1pm-5pm
Sundays, 10am-2pm
