Monthly Partner (24 hour access, $150/month, (waitlist for new ceramic members): Painters, printmakers, potters, and sculptors looking for a regular place to work should consider becoming a partner at Radius Studio. Partners are given full access to the studio and facilities for $150/month (materials and ceramic firing fees are additional). As a monthly partner, artists are given dedicated storage space within the studio for their materials (storage varies depending on media – shelves, flat files, and canvas rack are all available).
Artists interested in becoming a monthly partner should review the Monthly Partner Contract. We do not currently have monthly partner spots available for ceramics artists, so if you are interested in becoming a member of the clay studio, please email us to be put on a wait list. A $150 security deposit and a $25 key deposit will be required at the time of signing the contract (refunded when storage space is cleaned and the key is returned).
Hourly Open Studio Membership
Artists who have a solid foundation in a medium but do not wish to commit to a monthly partnership can drop in to the studio during open studio hours and work for an hourly rate. Open studio artists are given limited storage within the studio for works in progress. Open studio artists must sign in and out with the studio monitor every time they use the studio. No beginners allowed. Those new to clay are required to first take a 6 week workshop with us before using the studio as an hourly member.
To start using open studio, check our calendar for open studio times and stop in for a tour. Advance appointments are NOT necessary. New members must pay a $20 non-refundable deposit.
Open Studio pricing is as follows: $5.50/hour (pay as you go), $45 for a 10 hour block card, or $90 for a 25 hour block card. Please note cards expire 6 months from purchase date.
Details on open studio use are spelled out in detail in our Open Studio Policy.
