We’ll provide the hot cocoa and cookies, and you bring your creative ideas to make unique ornaments for your tree or gifts for your friends! In this workshop, we will explore a variety of hand-building and decorating techniques sure to lift your holiday spirits. We discuss how to properly roll slabs of clay out, how to make attachments, and how to add texture and color to create your ideal designs.
Students can make up to 5 ornaments and are welcome to purchase additional ornaments for just $5 each. Your ornaments will be fired and glazed for you by the instructor with a glossy, clear coat. They will be completed and ready for pickup between December 4th-December thru 19th during shop open hours.
All supplies included. Jess will even be sharing some special high-fire wire and underglaze decal transfers for you to try!
No experience is necessary; this workshop is fun for both beginners and experienced makers!
In this fun and lighthearted workshop, we welcome those ages 10 and up (under 16 must attend with an enrolled adult).
Pickup Information:
Work made in class will be ready for pick up between December 4th-December 19th, during our open studio hours. This gives us time to complete the multi-step firing and glazing process. We will not email you when your work is ready, so please make a note of this information and be sure to come get your treasures! The front desk will assist with locating your work.
