Times: Sundays, 1:00pm – 4:00pm
Where: Ulna Art Studio, 215 SE Morrison
6 weeks, 6 sessions, class size is limited to 15 students

This in person class is the Part 2 option to take after Introduction to Painting. Each week will have demos discussing form, composition, perspective, and color theory. And students will be encouraged to continue practicing painting and to build on the foundation we learned in Intro to painting. The setting is relaxed and informative.

For returning students with experience in acrylic or oil, this workshop will provide an opportunity to work on independent projects. The intention of this class is to create a space for artistic learning, showing by example in real time the practice and thought process of being an artist, creating a IRL group space to share and talk about art while offering advice on materials, technique, and subject matter. As an instructor, Jolyn is here to help students address artist blocks, and model how to create time and space for a nourishing art practice.

Masks will be optional, and we ask that you do not come to class if you are feeling sick. We require vaccination to participate in this in person class.
