This one day workshop will provide basic instructions on how to make monotype prints. We’ll learn about the basics of press use. Monotypes are a type of printmaking that produce one image on paper. Various techniques will be explored such as how to make multi-layered colored prints and reduction. Inspiration for subject matter can come from studying real life objects, printed photos, sketch books, or your imagination! All materials (except paper) will be provided.
