Curious about trying your hand at the pottery wheel? Your instructor, Jess Faulk, will walk you through the basics of wheel throwing during this session. You can keep your favorite piece, which we will fire and glaze for you after the class. Your finished piece can be collected during our Open Hours, one month after your workshop date.
Please arrive on time, as the demo begins promptly at the workshop start time. If you arrive late it will hold up the class, and make it less likely that the group will be able to make a second piece.
We start class with an instructor demo, then you will be led through the throwing process as you create your own piece. If time permits, you can make a second piece more independently. You may choose one piece to keep, and together we will clean up the space.
We do not supply aprons, make sure to wear shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. If you have long hair please wear it pulled back.
Covid info: Masks are optional as of January 2023 at the studio but encouraged by the instructor. COVID policy here
Cancellation policy: For a refund or credit, cancellations must be requested 2 weeks before the start date of the workshop. A 10% fee is taken out of all refunds requested 2 weeks or more from the class date.
Workshops are for ages 18+
