Description
Who doesn’t want to sip out of a mug handmade with love? In this one-time workshop, we will pinch and coil our way to our very own unique mugs. We will walk through the basics of forming, making handles and decorating techniques to super customize your pieces. Each participant will have the opportunity to construct 2 mugs!
After construction, if time permits students can stay and paint the piece to further customize it or have us glaze it for them with our beautiful house-made white gloss glaze. After the workshop, it will go through a two-part firing process which takes a few weeks and will be ready to pick up during shop hours approximately 1 month later.
No experience is necessary and all supplies are included. Expect to get a little dirty, and dress accordingly.
This workshop is open to ages 16 and up!
Please note, due to the volume of workshops we host you will not be notified when your piece is ready. We will hold your completed piece(s) for one month after the “ready for pick up” date, they will be available for pick up during Open Hours. Unclaimed work will be recycled or donated.
