Introduction to Painting class is a socially distanced, in person class. Every student and instructor will wear masks at all times, and the classroom is set up to encourage 6 feet distancing. Class size is limited to six students.
This class is organized to address the needs of beginner and any painter who wants to practice/relearn the basics. Learn to build an acrylic (or oil) underpainting from scratch, and mix colors while developing your ability to evaluate value and composition. The setting is relaxed and informative. Students who feel more confident or have previous experience with painting are encouraged to consider signing up for the seminar class on Saturdays. A materials list will be provided upon registration.

About the instructor:
“I highly recommend taking studio classes or seminar time at Radius with Jolyn Fry. She is a wonderful artist and teacher, she establishes a legit space to learn and create, it is relaxing, non-competitive, yet as serious as you wanna make it and take it. Jolyn is very kind and does what she can to help you succeed.” -JR
