Description
In this hands-on workshop, Jess Faulk will teach you the basics of constructing your own slump and hump bisque molds using wood frames. Then, you’ll explore different ways to use these molds to create everything from tableware and vases to larger serving plates and platters.
As you create, Jess will be there to help troubleshoot and answer questions. The value of this unique workshop is expanding your clay practice by having the knowledge and confidence to make your own bisque and wooden drop molds, and how to use them. Radius will bisque fire one piece (or one bisque mold) made during this workshop for you to pick up two weeks later.
This class is designed for students with some clay experience looking to venture into hand-building or bisque mold-making for the first time.
