Radius is excited to announce that on June 26th, 2021, we are hosting a POC only wheel throwing workshop. We are using funds from our scholarship program to offer this workshop to students free of charge. We aim to further diversify our studio and increase accessibility to our creative community.

Our guest instructor, Dwayne Nii-Teiko Sackey, will walk you through the basics of wheel throwing. You can keep your favorite piece, which we will fire and glaze for you to pick up during drop off/ pick up hours approximately 1 month after your class.

This is our first offering of this workshop, and we anticipate a large number of applications. Priority will be given to individuals experiencing access barriers across intersecting, marginalized identities (race/sex/gender/ability/income).

Applicants will not be judged based on artistic skills or experience in the creative community.

Applications are due by June 18th at 5pm, 8 spots available apply here

Please contact Korin at with any additional questions or concerns.

Our first floor ceramics studio is ADA accessible.
