Advance your ceramics practice with our Intermediate Hand Building Workshop, led by Korin Noelle. Designed for those who grasp the basics, this workshop shifts focus from introductory techniques to enhancing your artistic expression and technical skills in ceramics.
In this course, you will:
- Cultivate Individual Projects: Bring your unique ideas to life with personalized support from Korin. This workshop emphasizes individual creative pursuits, providing a supportive framework for your project development.
- Engage in Group Critiques: Participate in collaborative discussions, where peer and instructor feedback will help sharpen your conceptual focus and refine your craftsmanship.
- Experience Advanced Demonstrations: Expand your knowledge with advanced demonstrations tailored to intermediate learners.
- Enhance Your Technique and Design: Build on your understanding of pinch pots, coil and slab construction by exploring more complex forms and surface finishes.
- Explore Conceptual Depth: Delve deeper into the ‘why’ behind your creations, learning to infuse your pieces with personal meaning and exploring themes that resonate with your artistic voice.
- 12 Instructed Sessions, 2.5 hours each
- Material and Tools: Each student will receive 25 lbs of clay, 20 firing slips, and access to tools and our large selection of custom glazes.
- 24 free Open Studio Hours to Practice independently. Open Studio Hours are valid through the end of the 12 week course. Hours are redeemed in 2 hour “blocks”. Additional hours can be purchased at $20/2 hour block.
