Instructor: Carly Larsson
January 10th – Feb 14th
Six-week watercolor painting course includes 6 sessions (15 hours of instruction) + open studio access through February 24th
Our six week watercolor painting course is designed to address the needs of both beginner and more experienced students. We’ll discuss color mixing, layering washes, how different types of paints, brushes and papers will change the mood of your piece, incorporating mixed media, and more. Study from life or come with a self-initiated project; lessons are individually tailored to each student.
Carly’s teaching style is rooted in experiential learning; while the course features lectures, demos, and prompts, there are no “step-by-step” assignments; emphasis is placed on firsthand learning through abstract conceptualization, active experimentation, concrete experience and reflective observation.
Drop-ins on a per-class basis are welcome at $55/session, please e-mail [email protected] to secure your space. If you are signing up after the class has begun, we will issue you a refund for a prorated class session.
