Instructor: Carly Larsson
Date: Sunday January 20th
Study from a nude model while exploring new materials (or using old materials in new ways!) We’ll discuss pacing, line, mark, shape and dimension, with emphasis placed on gestural studies: poses will be 15 minutes or under. All levels welcome; prompts are designed to benefit both beginner and experienced artists alike, and individual guidance is provided throughout.
Limited supplies provided, participants are strongly encouraged to bring their own. Some recommendations include: pastels (chalk and/or oil), watercolor, colored pencil, vine charcoal of varying weights, sumi ink and dip pens, markers, gouache, etc. Anything you’re excited about working with is great! Instructor will e-mail you more info prior to class. This workshop is open to adults only.
