How To Start a Drawing When You Feel Hopeless & Lost (Live Online Class THIS SATURDAY)

Date: Saturday, April 11th
Time: 10:30am-11:30am
Location: (Online)
Instructor: Lettie Jane Rennekamp
Cost: Pay What You Can

Our first two weeks were so successful, we have decided to do it again! This class will be a quick guide through Lettie Jane’s practice, what she does when she feels helpless about drawing and how to get back to putting your pen on paper when it’s been a while. This week Lettie will be talking about hand lettering and how to draw text. Before the class, try and think of a mantra you need right now, something that feels good to repeat to yourself. We could all use a little community and connectivity right now, so we hope you join us for this virtual class/ demo.

Class will be presented via Zoom, you can access the application on your smartphone, tablet or computer but we have found for most it works best on a computer. To join the virtual meeting room:
  1. Visit to download application and create a profile
  2. Use the meeting link that is sent to you after you checkout through the Radius website
Lettie’s Suggested supplies:
Please set aside any art tools that feel really easy and accessible to use. If you’ve got your oil paint station all situated, use that. If it’s a highlights and a ballpoint pen, use that. My go-to art supply is a Tombow Fedenosuke Brush Pen. I use both the soft and the hard tip, and I like that the ink runs consistently, you can get a fine or a fat line and they aren’t expensive.
