Handbuilt Animal Teapots

Radius is excited to host Canadian artist Jessica Sallay-Carrington as she travels to Portland to host this special workshop! Using the technique of building a solid form and then hollowing it out, Jessica will teach you how to turn a sculpture into a teapot. Emphasis will be on how she does details such as eyes, animal faces and bodies. Each participant will have the opportunity to hand build and glaze a teapot in the shape of an animal of their choice. This is a three part workshop, and spaces are limited to 6 participants. See more of her work at https://www.jessicascreatures.com/teapots
