Earth Day DIY: Reusable beeswax food wraps
Date: Monday, April 22nd
Time: 6:00pm-8:30pm
Location: Radius Annex, 3022 E Burnside st.

Did you know that by 2050 there could be more plastic than fish in the oceans?  About half of all plastic produced is single-use or disposable items like plastic wrap, to-go containers, and ziplock type bags. Want to keep your food fresh but not kill all the fish??? Let us teach you a better way! Come join us for this eco-friendly, hands on workshop and make your own reusable beeswax food wraps.

Beeswax Resin and a variety of fabrics will be provided for. Each student will have the opportunity to create up to 5 reusable wraps to take home and use.

Wear clothes you don’t mind getting wax on (it’s kind of a mess), and bring your love for your oceans! Help save the planet one wrap at a time!!
