Summer 2012 Session
Our Summer 2012 session begins the week of June 11th and runs through August 4th. This will be our standard 8-week session with open studio access through August 15. Classes include ceramics (beginning & intermediate; wheel & hand); painting (oil or acrylic; beginning & intermediate); and monoprint printmaking. Register early - many classes fill within days of opening! Details here: Registration Page.

Update (5/17): Wednesday night clay class is full! There is still room in the Saturday, Monday, and Thursday clay classes, though.

Special Class: Gas Kiln Design & Building
We are very excited to be offering a new, one-time class this summer: Gas Kiln Design & Building with guest instructor Chris Baskin. This is a rare opportunity to work with a master kiln builder and learn the art and science of designing a building a gas reduction kiln. This class will parallel the actual building of a gas kiln at the studio. The class is tentatively scheduled to run Saturdays, 10am-1pm beginning June 23 through mid/late August. Firing Calendar:
We are now scheduling firings using the same Google calendar as open studio and classes. The calendar can be viewed here: Firing Calendar or it can be viewed and edited by logging into our Google calendar.

  Registration Specials (instructional costs only, discounts cannot be combined):
Early Registration - register and pay in full three weeks prior to the start date of any workshop and save 10%.
Bring a friend and save 20% - register two or more people for any workshop and save 20%. Simply mention the other person's name in the comment section of the registration form and we'll automatically take off 20% for each registrant!
Student & Educator Discounts - current college & high school students as well as teachers save 10%.
Repeat Discount - taken a class or workshop with us before? Save 15% on any workshop.
Radius Community Art Studios is a community space offering workshops, facilities, and private studios for anyone serious (or curious) about art. Working to accommodate both the beginning and experienced artist, we offer professional facilities and instruction of specific art disciplines in a supportive and creative environment.
